KONA: 2nd Annual Dream Team Event (August 26) Results

KONA—The second annual Dream Team Event was held at the Holua Racquet and Paddle, and all proceeds went to benefit Maui families impacted by the wildfires.

There were 96 participants, some from the outer islands, and the tournament raised $5500, plus another $1400 in tips from the performance of Richard K’s band, “Luhvlion and the Hahdhehds”. (Richard K is the Director of Holua Racquet and Paddle. Learn more about him HERE.)

Aaaaand….here are the results of the Tournament (if you’re wondering why there are six people in a “team” who are listed as winners, this is due to the one-of-a-kind “Dream Team” format, created by two Big Island pickleballers. More about this in another post…stay tuned.)
